A day in the office with…Tanya McCourt, Account Director

17 March 2022

Tanya McCourt

Working remotely from the chilly climes of Edinburgh, Tanya heads up our print production team, as well as being responsible for managing our key client relationships. Here Tanya shares what a ‘typical’ day in her home office looks like…

Tell us a little bit more about your role…

I’m responsible for our key clients, ensuring that the receive an exceptional service from the full team at Join the Dots. You’ll mostly find me on the phone, building relationships and using my excellent negotiation skills to get the best prices for our clients!

Morning

You’ll find me walking the dog or smashing out a quick gym session.  I’m a massive morning person and tend to wake at 5am so expect and early morning email from me.

Lunch

II like to move again, as we spend so much time in front of the computer I’ll try and take the dog out, that’s unless I’ve got hooked to another trashy series and I’ll mostly be watching something!

Afternoon

Is when I start to slow down, being such a morning person, come about 3pm I tend to hit a brick wall, so I save all the less brain consuming tasks for then, I do try and keep moving as much as I can in the afternoon too and take a number of calls whilst out up hills!

Evening

With a crazy toddler, my evening is spent running about after a little me and when I eventually sit down, I love movies and a good box set.
